A free creative writing and performance workshop

In this community workshop, writer, performer and activist Evalyn Parry
invites participants to bring their concerns and stories related to gender-based
violence in our society, and, using techniques of writing and performance, shed
some creative light on a dark topic. Through spoken word, storytelling and
song, we?ll find transformation through creative expression. Express yourself in
new ways, make new connections, and make your outrage sing!
No previous experience in writing or performance is necessary, only a
willingness to try both. Mature content. Limited capacity, register today!

This workshop is in support of Evalyn Parry?s performance of SPIN
on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the David S. Howes Theatre.
